Talus Caves Environment
I was inspired to do this environment based off of talus caves, which is a type of caves that is formed by falling boulders. Creating this cave environment got me to dive deeper into creating purely organic environments and playing with lighting and atmospheric fog to give a sense of immersion. Playing with volumetric height fog was really fun as it opened my eyes to even more possibilities that I can achieve with my lighting capabilities inside of Unreal. I wasn't able to create a full forest so as you can see, that part is only for the DLC.
